The Church of the Nazarene in Mid-City consists of seven congregations: Cambodian, English, French-Creole, Samoan, Spanish, Sudanese and Swahili. We serve a meal downtown at the Salvation Army every Tuesday night, have partnered with food-banks and grocery stores to provide three weekly food distributions at our building, and also run an inclement weather shelter during the winter.

• Children from each congregation, plus other children from the neighborhood, attend Sunday school each week. Our supplies are extremely limited, but we seek to enhance their creativity by providing a safe environment where they are free to learn, ask questions, and are not afraid of failure.
